February replay inside: Self Governance Starts at Home

Hey Reader!

February’s theme was Self Governance Starts at Home – and I’ve been sitting with just how true that really is.

Before we ever write a scroll, join a PMA, or stand in any formal role, we are already governing:

  • ourselves
  • our households
  • our relationships
  • the way we respond when life presses on us

That’s where liberty is either guarded… or quietly handed away.

🌿 February Replay: Self Governance Starts at Home

If you weren’t able to join us live – or if you want to listen again with a notebook in hand – you can watch the replay here:

👉 Watch the replay: www.constitutioneducationpma.com/public-classes.html#february26

In that class we talked about:

  • why self governance is not perfection, but direction
  • how “little” daily choices at home set the tone for every other jurisdiction you walk into
  • why peace, not panic, is the posture that keeps you strongest in equity

Feel free to share that replay with any legacy-minded friends who are beginning to wake up and ask, “Okay… now what?”

A Little March Nugget: “Everything Has a Title”

As we move into March, I want to leave you with a simple idea you can use even if you never sign up for a single class:

Everything has a title.

When I say “title,” I don’t just mean a deed or a certificate.
I mean: Who is responsible for this… and where is that responsibility written?

You can ask three quiet questions about almost anything in your life:

  1. What is it, really?
    A bank account, a car, a house, a relationship, a promise?
  2. Who is actually responsible for it?
Not just “whose name is on it,” but
    – who carries the duty?
    – who is meant to benefit?
  3. Where is that responsibility expressed?
Is it only in conversation and assumption…
or is there somewhere it has been written, signed, and made clear?

In law and equity, silence doesn’t erase responsibility – it just leaves others to guess where it lives.

Self governance at home looks like slowly, peacefully beginning to answer those questions on paper:

  • a simple note clarifying, “I am holding this for ___.”
  • a written instruction about how you want something stewarded.
  • a quiet agreement between family members about who does what, and why.

Nothing fancy.
Nothing dramatic.
Just structure catching up with the life you’re already living.

That’s the heart behind our March series.

🔐 March Series: The Acts That Secure Title

All through March, Monday nights at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, we’re going to walk through how law and equity have dealt with this question of:

Who is responsible here… and how is that shown?

We’ll look at history, but always with an eye on your private life today.

Here’s the flow for March:

Week 1 – Titles, Trusts, PMAs & Wills: Why Everything Has a Home

A big-picture night.
We’ll map out legal title vs beneficial use, where PMAs and wills fit into the story, and why you don’t have to hold everything in your own name to be secure.

Week 2 – The Statute of Uses: The Separation That Changed Everything

We’ll time-travel to a world before trusts had formal language, walk through the Statute of Uses, and see how law began insisting that responsibility be visible – not to punish families, but to bring order where life had outgrown old forms.

Week 3 – Wills, Estates & the Power to Direct

This week is all about your will when you can’t speak.
We’ll talk about how law hears you through documents, why probate is the administration of silence (not a moral judgment), and simple ways you can begin giving clear direction for those who may one day have to speak for you.

Week 4 – Living in Private: Trust, Community & Chosen Jurisdiction

Here we bring it into community life: PMA structures, voluntary association, and chosen jurisdiction.
How do we live privately together in a way that is peaceful, lawful, and ordered – not isolated or at war with the world?

You are welcome to come to one evening or all four.

How to Join Us in March

There are two simple ways to walk with us:

  • CE Complete members – all March classes are already included for you. You’ll receive the Zoom links and handouts automatically each week.
  • Individual classes – you can sign up for any single Monday in March for $15, replay included.

If you’re on the fence, you might start with the Week 3 or Week 4 classes – they’re very practical and easy to apply at home.

Whether you sign up for a March class or simply sit with these questions:

  • What is this, really?
  • Who is responsible?
  • Where has that been expressed?

…you are already practicing self governance.

And that matters.
