August: As we learn better, we do better.

Hey Reader!

As July comes to a close, I just want to say thank you for another wonderful month of learning together. Every month I become more convinced that when ordinary men and women take the time to learn, ask questions, and think deeply, incredible things begin to happen. Confidence doesn't come from having all the answers—it comes from building a solid foundation one step at a time.

If you missed Monday's free class, or you'd simply like to watch it again, the replay is now available:

Notes: Handout - Where Your Liberty Gets Tested.pdf

Throughout the evening we explored a simple but powerful truth: many of life's biggest liberty questions never make it into a courtroom. They happen in everyday conversations, decisions, and moments where preparation matters more than reaction. If you haven't watched it yet, I think you'll find it both practical and encouraging.

August 3
Keeping Your Own Records: Why it Matters More Than You Think

Good records aren't about paperwork for paperwork's sake. They're about creating clarity for yourself. We'll talk about what is actually worth keeping, how to organize information without becoming overwhelmed, and simple systems that can serve you for years to come.

August 10
Structure Before Action: Why Things Fall Apart Without It

Before we act, we need structure. We'll explore how creating your own systems—not simply accepting someone else's—can bring consistency, confidence, and peace into every area of life.

August 17
Clarity Changes Everything: Seeing Before You Act

Confidence often looks like certainty from the outside. More often than not, it's simply the result of having clarity. We'll explore practical tools that help us slow down, think well, and make decisions with wisdom instead of pressure.

August 24
Equity Aids the Vigilant

One of equity's best-known maxims tells us that equity aids the vigilant, not those who sleep on their rights. But what does vigilance actually look like in everyday life?

We'll explore why clarity, timely action, and good habits matter so much in equity—and how small decisions made consistently today can prevent much larger problems tomorrow.

As We Learn Better, We Do Better

This month's free class is going to be a little different.

Rather than teaching a single concept from beginning to end, I'll be sharing stories from the journey—moments where I thought I had things figured out, what experience taught me afterward, and what I would approach differently today. Sometimes our greatest growth comes not from learning something new, but from seeing familiar experiences with fresh eyes.

Looking Ahead to September...

I'm especially excited about what's coming next.

September will bring an entirely new series focused on the practical tools of equity—topics like notice, estoppel, acquiescence, waiver, consent, negligence, laches, and other equitable principles that quietly shape everyday life. My hope is to make equity feel less like an academic subject and more like a natural way of thinking and living.

I think it's going to be one of the most practical series we've taught.

Thank you for continuing to learn alongside us. Every class, every question, and every conversation strengthens this community. It is a privilege to walk this path together.

As we learn better, we do better.

With gratitude,

Cassandra

P.S. If you're new—or if you've been looking for a good opportunity to invite a friend—this month's free class is a wonderful place to start. We're going to be looking back at where we've come from, sharing lessons learned along the way, and talking honestly about what I would do differently today. I think it will encourage both those who are just beginning and those who have been learning with us for quite some time.

Hey Reader! February’s theme was Self Governance Starts at Home – and I’ve been sitting with just how true that really is. Before we ever write a scroll, join a PMA, or stand in any formal role, we are already governing: ourselves our households our relationships the way we respond when life presses on us That’s where liberty is either guarded… or quietly handed away. 🌿 February Replay: Self Governance Starts at Home If you weren’t able to join us live – or if you want to listen again with a...
