February at Constitution Education — Self-Governing in Practice

Hey Reader!

As February begins, I want to take a moment to set the tone for the month ahead.

February is often quiet.
Not empty — just quieter.

It’s the part of the year where much of the work happens beneath the surface. Decisions are forming. Discernment is sharpening. Movement hasn’t started yet — and that’s not a flaw. It’s preparation.

For that reason, February at Constitution Education is focused on self-governance in practice.

Not slogans.
Not theory.
Not asking for permission.

But the everyday work of learning how to:

  • make your own decisions with clarity
  • keep your own records
  • regulate yourself before acting
  • and take responsibility for your choices without urgency or fear

Over time, self-governance has a way of changing how you’re seen — not because you insist on it, but because clarity and responsibility are hard to ignore.

Many people — even those sincerely walking a private path — still find themselves asking “should I?” more often than they realize.

February is an invitation to gently shift that posture.

Instead of “should I?”
we begin asking, “how do I decide?”

Looking Back to Move Forward

If you weren’t able to attend January’s free public class — or if you’d like to revisit it — the replay is available here:

January’s conversation focused on roles and responsibility, and it provides a helpful foundation for the practical work we’re stepping into this month.

How This Month Fits the Bigger Picture

Over the past few months, we’ve been building something steadily.

December focused on the acts that changed everything — the moments where decisions mattered.
January brought us into roles and responsibility — what it actually means to govern rather than react.

February is where those threads come together in practice.
Not as theory, but as the daily administration of our own affairs.

Small shifts here tend to create noticeable changes in the world around us.

Continuing the Conversation in February

For those who would like to explore this month’s theme more deeply, we’ll be holding the following classes in February.
